Mahindra Group is a multinational conglomerate holding company headquartered in India. Comprised of 120 subsidiaries, the conglomerate employs more than 200 000 people in over hundred countries.

Each year the CEOs of the Mahindra companies come together in the conglomerate’s internal M101 Leadership Conclave. Each time the conference takes place in a different part of the world, and it has formerly been held, e.g., in South Africa, South America and Asia. In 2017, the M101 was organized for the first time in a Nordic country, in Hotel Kalastajatorppa in Helsinki.

The two-day event was attended by 101 executives, all of them giving a presentation of the past year and the prospects for the upcoming term of their respective companies. New investment opportunities were charted during the event as well. The Group brought also along conference staff and three own chefs.

The entire event consisted of two full-day, tight-scheduled conferences and three evening galas, that included visits of Prime Minister Juha Sipilä and Minister of Economic Affairs and Employment Mika Lintilä, sales pitches of startup entrepreneurs and uplifting entertainment numbers.
