VK returns to its roots
Varjokuva, which has entertained dancers for over 20 years, returns to the roots of Finnish wire music while respecting traditions.
Two SMORK wins and appearances on numerous TV programs have confirmed Varjokuva's position among Finland's top orchestras.
In the new Varjokuva, the solo parts and guitar playing will be taken over by Rami Hänninen, who has been involved in the band for many years, and Vesa Anttila, a long-time guitar professional, will join the orchestra as a new member.
Tuure Koski plays bass and comp guru Heikki Sandrén plays drums.
At Varjokuva's gigs you will hear hit tunes from the band's old repertoire, as well as new and interesting wire-cut versions of many familiar songs.
