Wind Amberla career as a singer began Children on the move in the band already in 1982, but she became known to the whole nation with her hit song Lulu in 1984. Lulu has since become an enduring hit, played at home parties and karaoke bars, and performed by Tuula herself at concerts and clubs. Amberla and guitarist Ilpo Murtojärvi have continued their collaboration since Lulu to this day.
Tuula Amberla's repertoire includes all of Tuula Amberla's best-known songs; Lulu, Little Words, Girl Combing Wet Hair, Raven, Car Stopped on the Side of the Road, Moon Boy etc. Ilpo Murtojärvi has acted as an arranger and guitarist in all these songs and many others, which have survived through Tuula's original, memorable and timeless interpretation.
