Turku Jazz Orchestra is Finland's leading big band, which brings a spectacular and high-quality musical experience to corporate, non-profit and event organizers' events. Known for its high standard, the Turku Jazz Orchestra has performed with numerous top Finnish musicians and conductors, and the orchestra regularly brings international jazz stars to Finland, such as Victoria Tolstoy, Michael Abene ja Nils Landgren.
Turku Jazz Orchestra's debut album I could tell you a secret. (2016) was released in collaboration with Alba Records, the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, Johanna Iivanainen ja Jukka Perkon with. In honor of the orchestra's 10th anniversary, the conductor-composer appeared Jussi Lampelan recorded with a lead Jazz Noir (2022), and in the fall of 2023 the orchestra's third album was released Cold war 3.0, which includes a trumpet player Tero Lindberg compositions. In March 2026, the Henri Lyysaari new album composed by The Labyrinth Garden.
The artistic director of the Turku Jazz Orchestra will be the musical multi-talented Ville Vannemaa until the end of 2024, and from the beginning of 2025, Mikko Hassinen, who has been cooked in many big band broths, will take over. The Turku Jazz Orchestra's background organization is Jazz City Turku association.
