Teemu Harjukari, a talented singer, musician and songwriter, presents The silence of the night before -warm Christmas carols at their Christmas concert.
– My Christmas concert includes a lot of Christmas classics From Sylvia's Christmas Carol since and also a few of my own compositions: Christmas morning ja The silence of the night before.
Christmas Morning is Teemu's version of an English 1500th century folk song (Greensleeves), which Sana Mustonen has translated into Finnish (you can listen to the song on these pages, recorded live from Teemu's Christmas concert). The title of the concert is Teemu's own composition Aattoillan hilaisuus, and it was also written by Sana Mustonen.
The arrangements of the Christmas carols heard at the concert have been made by Teemu Harjukari and Mikko Kalliomaa.
The accompaniment will be provided by musicians from Teemu's own Taivaanrantan maalarit orchestra, and the larger ensemble includes a violin quartet and two backing singers. As a skilled musician, Teemu will also play instruments himself at the concert: saxophone, accordion, guitar...
