Introduction

Sampsa Simpanen – Stand Up comedian

Stand-up comedian Sampsa is a teddy bear who looks like a member of a motorcycle gang, a family man and a former pastor. As a father of three children under school age, he is not afraid of anything. Except staying at home.

Sampsa's ecclesiastical obligations were left behind in the way of comedy, but follow closely in the stories. Sampsa has his own perspective on life. The warm nature and the stories based on strange, but still familiar, experiences go smoothly, drawing the audience along.

Sampsa denies having a midlife crisis, but still, the life of an adult man is challenging sometimes. Sampsa is a caffeine addict who occasionally challenges his audience and sometimes “accidentally” himself. Both the Ilosaarirock audience and the families of the parish children's event have enjoyed Sampsa's audience.

The length of the presentation can vary from 15 min. and between 1,5 hours, by agreement.

Sampsa Simpanen – host

Sampsa Simpanen is a well-liked presenter who, as a former pastor, current stand-up comedian and radio professional, knows how to speak in a way that keeps the audience listening. Sampsa is enthusiastic and inspiring.

Sampsa Simpanen talks about coping at work , among other things. He has gone through burnout and severe depression, and he talks about this topic from personal experience, keeping the audience in his grip the whole time and ultimately leaving everyone with hope and faith in overcoming the situation. Sampsa's corporate events are not comedy, although of course Sampsa's comedic side is evident in them.

Sampsa has spoken to both welders and doctors. He was a church leader for years and now has toured Finland as a comedian, host at festivals and shopping malls , and as a speaker at, among other things, Tyky-päivät and corporate events.
