Sampsa Simpanen – Stand Up comedian
Stand up comedian Sampsa is a teddy bear who looks like a motorcycle gang member, a family man and a former pastor. As a father of three children under school age, he is not afraid of anything. Except staying at home.
Sampsa's ecclesiastical obligations were left behind in the way of comedy, but follow closely in the stories. Sampsa has his own perspective on life. The warm nature and the stories based on strange, but still familiar, experiences go smoothly, drawing the audience along.
Sampsa denies having a midlife crisis, but the life of a grown man is still challenging sometimes. Sampsa is a caffeine addict who occasionally challenges his audience and sometimes “accidentally” himself. Sampsa has enjoyed being in the audience so much Ilosaarirockin the audience, as well as the families of the parish children's event.
The length of the presentation can vary from 15 min. and between 1,5 hours, by agreement.

Sampsa has spoken to both welders and doctors. He was the leader of the congregation for years and has now toured Finland as a comedian, host at festivals and shopping mallsa, and as a speaker, e.g. at tyky days and at company events.
