Sallad is a six-piece band that was founded in the spring of 2005. The idea was to form a band that could play all possible genres, from jazz to rock and from traditional dance music to party music.
Sallad has become one of the country's most sought-after party bands . The orchestra is known for its incredible versatility: in addition to energetic contemporary pop and rock, they also swing their hips with Latin songs sung in Spanish and Portuguese.
The experience of the members of Sallad as musicians is staggering! They have performed with Finland's top artists and bands. These include, among others , Anna Puu, Anna Abreu, Poets Of The Fall, Mikko Leppilampi, Sani, Chisu, Kaija Koo, Mariska, The Crash, Jenni Vartiainen, Pauli Hanhiniemi, Olavi Uusivirta, Jussi Raittinen, etc.
