Pasi Vainionperä is a singer and musician born in Tampere. The energetic and versatile performer is capable of both more traditional rock and catchy pop/rock fun with his party band Pasi Vainionperä Party Rockers . Vainionperä also performs acoustic duo and trio gigs in pubs and at private events.
Pasi Vainionperä was chosen as the winner of the Iskelmäartisti 2009 competition at the Iskelmäfestivali held in Himos in July 2009. After the competition, his first single, Rakkaudessa suiraa , written by Petri Munck , was released in September 2009. It reached second place on the Iskelmä listener list in its first week and was the 21st most played song on commercial radio in 2010. His debut album Rakkaudessa suiraa was released in 2010 and was chosen as the album of the month by local radio stations. Over the years, he has also been nominated in the Iskelmä annual poll for the Newcomer of the Year category.
Vainionperä's single release Rakkauden rikolinen was released in 2016. Since then, En ollutkaan sun arvoinen (I Wasn't Worthy of You) has been released, and most recently Karoliina (2021) . All three songs have one thing in common: Vainionperä has been working on the lyrics and composition from the beginning.
