A new arrival on the Finnish music scene, the likeable singer Oskar Lehtinen, is on the rise and is now performing with his own band. Oskar has attracted great interest from numerous music circles. His TikTok streams and charming vocal sound have propelled him to success.
Oskar Lehtinen first became known from Aki Samuli's gigs, where he toured for two summers with the theme Aki Samuli's Paulois. When Samuli went on hiatus, the band remained with Oskar, so from now on they will be touring under the name Oskar Lehtinen & Kajo.
Oskar Lehtinen's first hit single, "Where Are You Now?" , was released in May 2025 by the writing team Jukka Karppinen and Erkki Koivisto . It reached the top spot on Radio Pook, playing there for many weeks, and was also played on many other channels.
In September of the same year, a second single was released: Paras mies . The lyrics were written by Kale Puonti , who is also known as a detective novelist, and Jukka Karppinen was responsible for the composition. Recording the song in the studio with Oskar was the Pälkänen Studio Orchestra, which includes Aleksi Yli-Sissala (guitar), Samuel Järvinen (guitar), Antero Linden (accordion), Juho Eskola (bass), Eero Nummela (drums) . The group has also been involved in arranging the song together with Sampo Haapaniemi (including Teleks, Egotrippi, Tuure Kilpeläinen & Kaihon Karavaani ) and Jukka Karppinen.
