Markku Heikkilä is a Turku-based presenter who has a command of the language. He knows how to be a professional presenter both in Finnish and in casual dialect conversation: His humorous character is the Turku dialect-speaking Förin äijä , who puts flour in the mouths of both Turku residents and residents of other places.
Markku Heikkilä is also known as a radio personality and a prolific author. He has written over ten books, including the humorous book series Uutissi Turust – not official but torellissi , written in the Turku dialect , of which almost 20 volumes have already been published.
