Introduction

Jonna Ortju & Namu is a band that glows with fresh female energy. Now, fresh winds are blowing in the band.

Summer 2016 brought a new wind to the journey of skilled female musicians. Soloist Jonna Ortju participated in the Tangomarkkinat singing competition and made it all the way to the finals. It was time to rise to new heights.

The ladies who previously performed in the Seireenit and Lumottaret groups are now continuing their journey sweetly under the name Jonna Ortju & Namu. At the same time, the group grew to six members when a saxophonist joined. Spring 2018 brought the current group's first single: Sangriaa.

Namu, which is of course a really sweet name, but also an abbreviation for female musicians, is 100% the joy of playing, captivating, attentive to the audience – professionalism and expertise: a line-up of six professionals that many believe outshine several "guy bands" with their playing.

Namu's repertoire includes dance & pop music loved by dance fans , but also more lively party music , which is suitable for various corporate events.
