Skillful, atmospheric jazz! Soloist Jonna Ortju and piano virtuoso, Grammy award-winning Marian Petrescu They bring a world-class jazz feel to concert stages or an intimate, tangible atmosphere to smaller stages. The ensemble has performed at many festivals, concert stages, churches and many corporate events for 20 years.
In addition to songs in Finnish and English, the program includes songs sung in French, Italian and Spanish. Jonna also skillfully sings in Karelian, Estonian, Russian and Swedish. The ensemble celebrates 20 years of their common path this year.
Jonna Ortju is also known from other bands (Magicians, Sirens, NiceBand and Dixie Harlem) and the Tangomarkkinat finale in 2016. Marian Petrescu has been awarded, among others, a special cultural award in Finland and an international Grammy for best instrumental arrangement (2009).
