Jarkko Honkanen is a singer with a long career, who has recently increased his popularity among dance fans.
Since the release of the first song, Rakkaus kellot, which received more attention, six full-length albums have already seen the light of day. The latest of these is the album Suunta muuttumaton (2020), made with the Taiga band , which has received a lot of attention from the dance and pop community . The previous one, Vaeltaja (2017), was chosen as Album of the Year. The singles released from these albums, Läpikulkumatkalla, Saavuttamaton, Hyvissä kässissa and Kaikki miõsta haaveilin , have done well on the charts, like the previous single releases. The songs Onnen hetket and Taivas rajana have also collected chart positions . Jarko and Taiga's other releases include the dance-foot tickling Kaikesta tähtää and Katse vain.
Jarkko and Taiga were chosen as Dancers of the Year in 2017. The duo was also seen several times in the popular TV series Taivaantulet.
The hunger for singing and performing is what drives Jarkko forward in his singing career, and his passionate collaboration with Taiga ensures versatile entertainment at gigs and other music productions. The future looks very bright in terms of new releases and gigs.
