Tango Prince of 2026, Ilari Hämäläinen
Ilari, known as a rock musician and musical actor, is going to conquer dance stages with his band.
The shared promise of the orchestra led by Ilari is to create a safe, yet fascinatingly unique dance evening and to invite listeners and dancers to come just as they are.
Those who have never been on a dance floor before will definitely dare to join this group – and those who have never ventured into the captivating energy of a rock concert will get to experience it for the first time, led by Ilari Hämäläinen.
"We promise to delight, inspire and move with our thought-provoking program, whether you come to dance or listen, regardless of your age."
A solid musical education and broad expertise are the key foundation for the entire ensemble, so that each genre is presented with the dignity it deserves. The musical choices respect traditions, time-honored songs, soulfulness, and the courage to avoid the most worn-out songs on dance floors.
Every song must also bring the artists to life.
“Every night we strive to boldly push the boundaries of our skills – so far to the edge that the audience cannot remain indifferent.”
Ilari Hämäläinen and his orchestra do not play music that follows the latest fashion, but timeless music that lasts and evokes emotions. We believe this will appeal to audiences of all ages. If we are excited about this, then surely you will too.
"I hope that the audience will experience several aha moments during the evening when they hear something from their past. Something that they may have forgotten over the years. And although we don't follow fashion, we still try to take the latest fashion dances into account while respecting the audience."
