Jarno Ollikainen

I played: Vocals & bass. Year of birth: 1988 Hobbies: Jogging, gym. My interest in music began when I was knee-high. My parents (thanks to them) made sure that pop music became familiar and ingrained in my consciousness as early as kindergarten age. When I started school, I especially liked singing, which is why I eagerly applied to the Kotka boys' choir in 1996. That same year, I started elementary piano lessons. I also took a peek into the wonderful world of rhythm instruments when I played drums for a few years.

Harry Arvila

Instrument: accordion, accordina, percussion, backing vocals. Year of birth: 1988. Harri is Karkkila's gift to Finnish accordion music. The accordion, the kurttu, the sirmakka and the devil's lungs have always been close to Harri's heart. He started playing music at the age of 6 in Karkkila. In the early stages of his career, the 9-year-old Harri was already known from TV, as a finalist in the Hopeinen Harmonikka competition.

Alex Autere

I played: guitar, backing vocals. Year of birth: 1990. I was born on a sleety Monday morning in January at 4:30 in the Kätilöopisto hospital. So the starting points in life were good. I showed my interest in music at the age of four by playing Clapton hits in the back seat of the car with my seat belt on. At the age of six, I started studying classical guitar at the school, but by the time I started Sibelius High School, the electric guitar had taken me with it for good. After high school, I studied to be a musician at the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory, from where my journey continued with the Hurma band towards new adventures and sleety Monday mornings.

Harri Hautaniemi

Instrument: keyboards, backing vocals. Harri Hautaniemi was crowned the Tango King in July 2024. Trained as a pop-jazz pianist, Harri has also studied classical music and singing, and tango has become particularly important to him over the years. The music is balanced by taekwondo, in which he has a third-degree black belt.

Konsta Puro

Instrument: drum t. Konsta started active gigging at the age of 14 with jazz music. Since then, he has played gigs in various genres, both in dance orchestras, big bands, and rock music bands. Konsta graduated as a professional musician from Kymi Conservatory in 2018. He studied music pedagogy at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Konsta has played drums in the entertainment orchestra of the Finnish Defence Forces Conscript Band, now in Hurma since spring 2024. Konsta has also been selected as the Conscript Band's Conscript Musician of the Year.
