Henry Friman came second in the 2020 The Voice of Finland competition in Juha Tapio's team. The singer with a beautiful voice performed strong, emotional songs in the competition that melted the hearts of both the judges and the audience. – 1960s music in general is particularly dear to me, says Henry, whose family of singers includes other hit stars, such as his second cousin Rainer Friman.
Henry cites Olavi Virta, Kari Tapio, Elvis and Tom Jones as his role models. Katri-Helena has also been a strong musical influence.
Henry Friman has been on the Reijo Taipale – Beyond the Ocean concert tours for several years now. His latest music is represented by the single Kertokaa se hänelle.
At the gigs, Henry is accompanied by the Roulette orchestra, led by Jani Helenius , which is also remembered as Reijo Taipale's orchestra.
