Aukusti Koivisto is a young singer-songwriter who combines influences from American roots music with Finnish rock and pop music. His passion for traditional vintage music is very clearly audible, and Koivisto's guitar-driven style has gained great popularity as a result of his frequent radio play (including YLE Radio Suomi).
The prolific musician and producer has already released three albums during his five-year solo career, the latest of which, Keskiyön kirjastus, saw the light of day in September 2023. Koivisto's songs combine sunshine and happiness, but also haze and longing. In addition to radio, Koivisto's songs have gained popularity on streaming services and the albums have been awarded, among others, with local radio's Album of the Month awards.
In addition to making and releasing new music, Koivisto performs with his band, which he has gathered together talented roots musicians to play gems of Finnish pop and roots music in addition to his own growing catalog. Entertaining and guitar-driven duo gigs are Koivisto's most intimate offering.
